St. Martin's School

Spyder Engineers, LLC provided structural designs for the school addition to the St. Martin's Episcopal School.  The approximately 13,000-square-foot new addition consists of a one-story building with a partial basement and is located adjacent to the existing school. The scope of Spyder Engineers, LLC services included the following tasks:

  1. Design of three exterior access ramps into the building addition.
  2. Due to the proximity of the addition to the existing building, the basement retaining wall was designed as cantilever retaining wall so that no new loading is induced onto the existing building.
  3. Design of the one-story structure with a partial basement.
  4. Coordinated design effort with all disciplines.
