Cockeysville, Maryland

Spyder Engineers, LLC designs various coffee retails stores in the Maryland and Virginia regions. This project located in Cockeysville, Maryland is one example of our work.

As part of this renovation project, a former bank was converted into a coffee retail store.  The existing building was a 1088 square foot one-story building with two drive through lanes. Spyder Engineers, LLC provided structural engineering service to enclose the existing drive through lanes into part of the interior space; increasing the total interior square footage to approximately 1630 square foot. In addition to the building addition, we modified the exterior structure to rebrand the building, and reinforced the existing beam to remove a column.
